Last weekend, October 31-November 2, 2008, Karen joined nearly 1900 other walkers in her second 60 mile walk for the Breast Cancer 3 Day, an event which benefits the Susan G. Komen for a Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust. She was Co-Captain of a local team of 17 fundraisers and walkers which raised a total of over $40,000.00 over the past year to become the #8 team in the Tampa Bay event. Tampa Bay walkers raised over $4.5 million this year, most of which will be used locally.

In order to participate in the charity walk each participant had to make a pledge to raise $2,200. This year, Karen raised a total of $2,900.00 through fundraising events and donations from family, friends, and generous clients of ABCO Payroll Services. We would again like to thank our clients who donated to her walk.
