ABCO Payroll Services Customer Service manager, Jason Reynolds, has earned his "Certified Payroll Professional" (CPP) certification from the American Payroll Association (APA) Certification Board.

Certification is the recognition of professional skills by one's peers. The CPP recognition is given by the APA to those who: (1) meet the eligibility requirements for admission to the examination (three years experience in the payroll profession); (2) successfully complete the examination; and (3) subscribe to the APA Code of Ethics.

The comprehensive examination required includes testing in the following areas:

1. Core Payroll Concepts
2. Compliance
3. Principles of Paycheck Calculations
4. Payroll Process and Systems
5. Accounting
6. Management and Administration
